When Will These Things Happen

This series continues by laying some groundwork before we get to the book of Revelation. “When will these things happen?” The disciples asked this question in Matthew 24 and 25. Let’s examine Jesus’ answers so we can… LET THE BIBLE INTERPRET ITSELF. We will find keys in this section that will help us properly understand Old Testament references and apocalyptic literature, that will in turn clarify the text in Revelation. Matthew 24 is so very important because in it, Jesus speaks about His return! But He also speaks about the destruction of Jerusalem. Many people read what Jesus says in Matthew 24 without a clear understanding of how to read apocalyptic literature or a thorough study of the Old Testament. The result is often misunderstand and the promotion of a false doctrine not supported by Scripture.
