Program
Purpose
To give preachers in training some practical experience in a domestic mission field and introduce the North Eastern United States as a mission field to prospective workers.
Areas of Training:
-
Preaching and teaching opportunities with constructive input on lessons taught.
-
Working effectively under a strong eldership
-
Conflict mitigation and resolution
-
Practical personal evangelism training, application, and practice.
-
Day-to-day operation of a small but active congregation
-
Helping area congregations with outreach or other needs
-
Effective personal ministry habits
Responsibilities and Code of Conduct
You will be expected to:
-
Strive to act as a Christian should in every situation.
-
Refrain from any activity that will bring shame on Christ and His church.

Demonstrate a willingness to submit to the direction of the elders and preacher.
-
Demonstrate a willingness to admit to and address any areas of growth needed.
-
Approach this internship eager to learn and grow. (People who already know everything need not apply!)
After a period of training, responsibilities may include:
-
Preaching and/or teaching on a regular basis
-
Changing message on the sign weekly
-
Helping operate Audio/Video system
-
Helping with the weekly upkeep of the website and live streaming of service
-
Keeping regular office hours
-
Follow up and outreach as needed
